DIY :: Sunbird Feeder
Well, we don't have humming birds here...but surely have sunbirds...
so i decided to make a sunbird feeder... the process is same as that of humming bird feeder :)
Melt the bottom of bottle and fit in the screw
Make 4 holes on the lid. It would be good to do this as the first step...
Fit in some flower petals. I took some left over ones
This is not a required step... i glued some dry twigs...
Though humming birds can remain in air and drink nectar;a sunbird might not be able to do that... So that's why the twigs...
This is the ready one......
3 days later.........
My feeder was full of ants and their watery grave was too much to bear...
So I googled...and came to know about Ant Moat :)
There's the raw material:
A cap/ lid which u can dill from between...
for me, i luckily got a scrap cap from our water purifier...
Attach the hook at the end of the cap....fill it with water and hang :)
Wait for the birds to discover and take a sip :)

DIY:: Old Tire Planter
Wondering what to do with the tires lying around???
Better than throwing away these tires in dumping site....what say???
Well off course the internet has got tons of suggestions....here's just one of the ways...
Wooden planks were cut and fixed inside the tire.....it was filled with potting soil and then plants(grass here) were planted....
The tire along with the wooden plank is quite visible over here

Rough Garden Pathway
Its been quite some time that i wanted to do something with the extra stone tiles lying at our home.
And so i thought why not to create a small pathway on my narrow sidewalk. I had no extra materials just the tiles so i arranged them in whatever fashion i could (see the spaces in between ?? thats coz i couldn't cut the tile) I didn't want it to look super either..
So that's my rough patch...
hopefully, the stone with sink in a bit after some times...and hope to have grass in those blank spots :)
Meanwhile,I spotted this light blue butterfly in my tiny garden :)
